There is a place where the history of Magna Graecia meets the blue of the sea and the red of fiery sunsets, where the golden beaches are dotted with the white of wild lilies, where the scent of the pine forest accompanies, with the sound of cicadas, the placid summer afternoons. This place is Paestum, the gateway to Cilento, where the days stretch slowly, while the nights are concentrated, immersed in vitality and beauty.

Pisticci
The characteristic village of Pisticci is a well-known and popular centre, but still far from the phenomenon of mass tourism. Surrounded by white gullies and rich in suggestive views, it is one of the 'white towns' of Basilicata. Its historical centre is in fact criss-crossed by narrow streets and alleyways overlooked by small white houses with red roofs adorned with flower vases, colourful furnishings and small painted sculptures. In Pisticci, the sea meets the heights of the hinterland and lunar landscapes alternate with beaches with clear waters. A characteristic village that will show us an authentic face of Basilicata, still unknown to many.
Pozzuoli and Bacoli
"Boiling waters, caves giving off sulphurous vapours, limestone mountains, decomposed, wild, hostile to plant life, and in spite of this, vegetation as luxuriant as can be seen anywhere; life triumphing over death; ponds, streams, and lastly, a stupendous forest of oaks, on the slope of an ancient volcano' (G. W. Goethe).
Pozzuoli and Bacoli, lands of myth, sea and history: places to visit at least once in your life to discover the beauty lost among sky, sea and land.
Praia a Mare
Praia a Mare is one of the most evocative and well-known centres of the Riviera dei Cedri, the stretch of coastline located in the province of Cosenza, overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea, famous for its cedar groves that, with their scent, make the atmosphere of this particular area unique.
In Praia, the azure sea, hidden coves, sea caves and enchanting beaches are small treasures to be discovered, which combine with historical testimonies from different eras in a historical-naturalistic setting that succeeds in satisfying the most diverse travel needs.
Salerno
Those who imagine Salerno only as a port city at the entrance to the Amalfi Coast will have to change their minds. This ancient place, in fact, is the custodian of a millenary history and culture and is able to offer picturesque views and glimpses combined with travel experiences not to be forgotten.
Etruscans and Romans knew this land well, but it was during the Middle Ages, with the Lombards, that Salerno achieved great splendour, becoming a leading cultural centre and the seat of Europe's first Medical School. Layers of art and history still peep through the alleys of the old centre, in churches and inside museums, and being able to grasp all the little nuances of this city will make your trip rich and exciting.
San Severino Lucano
In San Severino Lucano one encounters all the magic and poetry of the unique region of Basilicata. This small village, now an Orange Flag town, was founded in the 16th century and is therefore relatively young compared to its neighbouring villages whose origins are lost in history. However, its scenic beauty, uncontaminated nature and the air so clear that it has earned it the name 'Land of Stars', make San Severino Lucano a place definitely worth a visit.
