Rafting is certainly one of the most fun and exciting water sports the mountains have to offer, as it is practised on the rapids of a river.

You use the Raft, an unsinkable dinghy, and venture down the mountain torrents, propelled by the strong water currents, dodging obstacles along the way. At the head of the raft is a trained guide, who coordinates operations and leads the less experienced downriver.

Rafting is a group sport, suitable for both families and groups of friends. Like all group sports, teamwork is required, as participants must act according to the instructions of the guide who is on their raft.

An adrenalin-pumping experience that offers great satisfaction and a fun way to experience the mountains. Rafting can in some cases be considered an extreme sport because it involves dangers, often consisting of boulders and the force of the current. Precisely for this reason, a scale has been created that classifies routes according to difficulty. The ranking has 6 degrees of difficulty, with grade 1 representing the basic routes, which are mainly suitable for beginners, while grade 6 routes are only reserved for professional athletes as they require experience and a lot of training. By relying on experienced guides, the risk is almost completely eliminated; instructors explain how to practice the sport, safety manoeuvres and how to use the equipment.
