Kamastra Restaurant is in Civita, an Arbëreshë village located in the Pollino National Park.

The gastronomic proposal, closely linked to the territory and rigorously faithful to the local natural resources, becomes a guiding thread for the rediscovery of local culinary traditions, according to a well-defined path that, at one time, tends to combine the ancient flavours of the Calabrian land and the peasant world, with the Balkan influences handed down through the preservation of the ethnic origins of the Land of the Eagles.

The Kamastra Restaurant's main dishes are those that, although they have their origins in the so-called 'poor peasant dishes', have rightfully gained a prominent place even in 'rich' gastronomy, due to the indisputable goodness and quality of the ingredients.
The pasta is handmade and even the desserts are handmade following old recipes jealously guarded and lovingly handed down.

The large dining room was created from rooms that had already been used as a spinning mill in the 1950s; the imposing old brick arches support the ceiling made of wooden beams and planks of fir and chestnut from the Pollino mountains, creating an atmosphere of pleasant architectural movement and a suffused feeling of livability and warmth.
