If a traveller enrolled in a trip organised exclusively by Memo Tour Operator cancels for reasons outside the organiser's control, he/she will be charged, as a penalty regardless of the deposit paid, percentages calculated on the participation fee, based on how many days before the start of the trip the cancellation took place, plus charges and expenses for cancellation of services. In the calculation of days, public holidays, the day of departure and the day on which notice of cancellation is given are not considered. Unless otherwise specified, the percentages are:
- 10% of the participation fee from the time of booking until 30 days before departure;
- 30% of the participation fee from 29 to 21 days before departure;
- 50% of the participation fee from 20 to 10 days before departure;
- 75% of the participation fee from 9 days to 5 days before departure;
- 100% of the participation fee after these deadlines.
Some services may be subject to different penalties (e.g. non-refundable entrance fees to exhibitions and museums, special fare train tickets, etc.).
In the event of a partial cancellation of a double room, the penalties applied to the individual passenger are equal to the higher of the penalty and the single supplement.
Please note: no reimbursement is granted to those who do not present themselves at departure or who cancel during the course of the trip. Likewise, no reimbursement is granted to those who cannot make the trip due to lack, disability, insufficiency or inaccuracy of the required personal documents.
If a traveller who has taken out Cancellation Insurance cancels his or her trip, please notify us promptly by calling +39 0981 78 63 12 or by sending an email to info@lovesouthitaly.it. A claim will then be opened with the Insurance Company for reimbursement of the penalties applied. Please read the policy conditions carefully.
If a traveller is unable to leave, it is possible to be replaced by another person who fulfils all the conditions for use of the service.
Trips made in cooperation with other Tour Operators are subject to different conditions. You can request a copy at the Agency.
Cancellation for reasons attributable to the Agency
If theAgency does not confirm Memo Tour Operator's exclusive trip due to the minimum number of participants not being reached or for reasons of force majeure, we seek alternative proposals in any way, either by proposing a similar itinerary or a trip organised by other Tour Operators working with us. If the alternative proposal does not satisfy, you will be full participation fee returned within 7 days of notification of cancellation.
Trips in cooperation with other Tour Operators are subject to different conditions. You can request a copy in the Agency.
Changes to the order of the itinerary
The Agency reserves the right to vary the order, the course of the visits or the locations of accommodation, should conditions arise that were not present at the time the trip was organised. All visits will be respected, guaranteeing that the programme is carried out in its entirety.
