The Agriturismo Bergi in Castelbuono, one of the most characteristic ancient centres of the Madonie Park, is spread over more than a thousand square metres among vegetable gardens, orchards and olive groves, in the Vallone Saraceno, an archaeological area dating back to Greco-Roman times.
Originally a 'vegetable garden' of the ancient Feudo Bergi, the company has never interrupted this tradition, improving and enriching its crops over time. The peasant culture mixed with the culinary vocation and the goodness of the farm's genuine products allows those who love the simple things of country life to rediscover those ancient flavours of healthy Madonite cuisine.
The family-run farm, with entirely certified organic produce, used mainly for catering, processing and tasting, is an ideal place to spend true moments of tranquillity, far from all forms of city pollution, immersed in the peace and scents that only the countryside can give. The romantic swimming pool surrounded by greenery completes this picture of relaxation.
Overlooking the garden, rooms at the Bergi feature soft colours, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with hairdryer. Some also have a balcony and/or overlook the pool. Guests can enjoy a sweet and savoury breakfast buffet each morning, prepared with home-grown ingredients.
